The land-use plan was interwoven with the planning process of the area. The aim was to connect the area owned by Paulig as a part of the Vuosaari centre, the central urban motif of which is the park axis reaching from the shopping centre to the sea.

The row of apartment blocks on the west side of the axis is dominated by a residential tower. A shopping centre, residential tower and the apartment buildings lining the axis form together a strong urban composition.

The multi-storey apartment buildings of the eastern residential area outline clear streetscapes. In the greened, car-free inner parts of the area there are two village-like groups of low-rise housing, a school and a kindergarten.

Along the main road west of the shopping centre there are places for business and offices. Parking solutions are based on centralized multi-storey car parks, shift parking and high environmental objectives.
